Our Emblem
Every element of our emblem was chosen with intention. Together they tell the story of where our community has been, and where we are helping it go.
01. The Knight
The knight symbolizes courageous leadership, protection, strategy, and service. Like the chess piece, it moves differently, navigates obstacles, and creates opportunities where others may not immediately see them.
This reflects the way we serve. Our role is not simply to stand beside the communities we serve, but to help individuals and families move forward with confidence, support, and purpose.
02. The Mosaic Pavement
The black and white mosaic pavement represents the contrasting experiences of life: challenges and triumphs, hardship and hope, setbacks and new possibilities.
It is not meant to divide life into simply good and bad. It reflects the reality that growth often happens through both difficult and rewarding seasons, and Desert Knights Foundation stands on this pathway as a source of guidance and support.

Though it can appear harsh, it is also filled with life and possibility, much like the communities we serve. It also roots the Foundation in its Arizona home.
